A free shuttle bus runs 24 hours a day at 15 minute intervals between the two terminals and the car hire area.
Driving directions:
Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is clearly signposted from the city centre. From central Anchorage take 5th Avenue, turn left onto L Street (which becomes Minnesota Drive), and then turn right along International Airport Road.
Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: The Municipality of Anchorage People Mover bus 7 (tel: (907) 343 6543; www.muni.org/transit1) runs between Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, central Anchorage and the Dimond Center. The journey time to central Anchorage is approximately 20 minutes and the fare is US$1.75.
Shuttle: A door-to-door shuttle service is offered by Eagle River Shuttle (tel: (907) 694 8888), Alaska Shuttle (tel: (907) 338 8888) and Seeward Bus Line (tel: (907) 563 0800) and a number of other operators.
Taxi: Taxis are available at each terminal, operated by Alaska Yellow Cab (tel: (907) 222 2222) and Checker Cab (tel: (907) 276 1234). At the South Terminal, the taxi stand is at the ground transportation island. At the North Terminal, the taxi stand is located directly outside the arrivals hall. The journey to central Anchorage is approximately 15 minutes and the fare is around US$17-22.

ATMs and a bank are available. Please note there is no currency exchange facility at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

There is a post office on site. Free Wi-Fi connection is available in both terminals.

There are various restaurants, fast food outlets and bars in the South Terminal. There is a sandwich shop in the North Terminal.
