Transfer between terminals: 

The terminals are within walking distance of each other; there is also a shuttle transfer service, which leaves from level 1 of the multi-storey car park.

Driving directions: 

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport connects to the Florida Turnpike, Interstate 95, Interstate 595 and Route 1. Take State Road 84 or Interstate 595 and follow Route 1 south to the airport’s Perimeter Road for the economy car park.

Public transport rail:

All terminals have facilities for disabled travellers. These include disabled toilets, courtesy telephones with TTY facilities, ramps and lifts. Disabled parking is available in all parking areas, with wheelchair-accessible shuttles available from the remote car parks.

Car parking: 

The ‘garage complex’ provides covered parking with direct access to all terminals, with short- and long-term rates available. The offsite Airport Economy Parking offers long-term parking; there are free shuttle buses to/from the terminals 24 hours daily. Car rental: 

Car hire companies at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Continental, Dollar, Enterprise, E-Z Rent a Car, Hertz, National, Payless, Royal and Thrifty, which all have desks on site at the Rental Car Center. The latter is well signposted from all terminals. It’s located within walking distance from Terminal 1, and there are free shuttles ferrying passengers from terminals 2, 3 and 4.
