Best time to visit: 

The Idaho climate is quite diverse. The north has cold winters with heavy snowfalls, while the south experiences warmer summers and mild winters. Boise, the capital, has chilly winters and hot summers.

Required clothing: 

Lightweights for the summer with cover-up for cool nights and heavyweights for the winter. Travellers will need extra clothes when travelling in the mountains in summer or winter.
