Coming from Charlotte, take I-69 to I-96 merge and go east to Grand River Avenue. Take exit 90. Turn right (east). The airport is 6.5km (4 miles) on the left. From Detroit, take the I-96 west to Grand River Avenue.
From downtown Lansing, take Grand Avenue to Oakland Avenue, turn left (west). Go to Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard and turn right (north) to Grand River Avenue. Turn left (west). The airport is on the right. Arriving from Flint, follow the I-69 west to Airport Road. Take exit 84. Turn left (south) onto Airport Road and proceed to Grand River Avenue. Turn left (east). The airport is 1.6km (1 mile) on the left.
Public Transport
Bus: Capital Area Transit Authority (tel: (517) 394 1000; ) operates services to and from the airport seven days a week with route 14.
Taxi: Taxis are located just outside the terminal building. Big Daddy Taxi (tel: (517) 367 7474), Capitol Transport (tel: (517) 482 1444) and JB Country Club Taxi (tel: (517) 323 9070) are among the transport providers.
Terminal facilities
National City Bank has an ATM located on the first floor of the terminal building near the main entrance. Wi-Fi Internet access is available in the terminal.
There is a casual full service restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and a pub, located near the boarding gates, with a full-service cocktail lounge and a branded mini food court.
There is a gift shop and news-stand concession featuring merchandise geared to the needs of air travellers. Also available are products, crafts, and gifts reflecting the unique character of Mid-Michigan.
Lost and found items including luggage can be located by calling 321 8525 or TSA Security . Trollies are available in the baggage reclaim area.
Skycap services are available to assist passengers transport their luggage and belongings to the airline ticket counters for check-in. Skycaps are also available in the baggage claim area at flight arrival times.
Airport facilities
The airport's complimentary business centre offers free Wi-Fi Internet access, Ethernet cable, dial-up service, teleconferencing and a comfortable, quiet environment with couches and restrooms. The centre is located through security screening near gate 6.
The airport is fully accessible to disabled and elderly travellers. Special ramps for wheelchairs are located at both short-term parking lots flanking the airport terminal as well as long-term parking lots. Convenient parking spaces are reserved for disabled travellers in all car parks. Ramps are provided at kerbside by the terminal. Lifts are conveniently located in the passenger terminal. All lifts are identified with the standard graphics used to designate facilities for disabled people, and they are equipped with raised markings on the control buttons. Wheelchairs can be obtained upon arrival at the passenger terminal by contacting any Skycap.
The short-term parking is located directly opposite the terminal building and has a 15-minute grace period. The long-term carpark is located just behind it. Parking facilities are operated and managed by APCOA/Standard (tel: (517) 321 2665).
Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, and National offer car hire services at the airport. Desks are located in the baggage claim area, and pick up/drop off is situated immediately adjacent to the terminal.
