A new terminal building is scheduled for completion in 2012.
There is no information desk in the terminal. Travellers should call the airport or contact their airline for information.
From the south, take Interstate 35, exit 255, and follow US Route 53 northbound to the airport exit. From the north, follow US Route 53 southbound to the airport exit. From US Route 2, take US Route 194 and then US Route 53 southbound to the airport exit.
Public Transport
Bus: Duluth Transit Authority's (tel: (218) 722 7283; www.duluthtransit.com) bus 5 connects Duluth International Airport with central Duluth from Monday to Saturday (journey time: 40 minutes; fare US$1.50).

Terminal facilities
An ATM is located on the first floor.
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in the terminal building.
Travellers can enjoy food and drink in the coffee shop and the Afterburner Café. Both provide a vantage point for watching aircraft landing and taking off. There are also vending machines at various locations.
There is a gift shop, which also sells newspapers.
Luggage carts are available. A lost luggage service is available from the security office (tel: (218) 727 2968 ext. 17).
Toilets with baby changing facilities are located on the second floor.
Airport facilities

Duluth International Airport has limited facilities for disabled travellers. Disabled parking spaces are located near the walkway leading to the terminal.
There is short- and long-term parking straight across from the terminal building. Passenger pick-up and drop-off takes place just outside the terminal.
There are five car hire agencies at Duluth International Airport, these include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Erac and National.

Situated 10 minutes' drive from Duluth International Airport, this mid-range hotel has 81 standard rooms, plus a number of mini-suites.
