From downtown Reno, take the South Virginia route south to Plumb Lane and drive east straight to the airport. From Highway 395 North or South, take ‘Reno/Tahoe International Airport’ exit; from Interstate 80 West or East, take the ‘Highway 395 South’ exit and then the ‘Reno/Tahoe International Airport’ exit.

Public transport road:
Bus: Bus services (bus 19) are operated by RTC public bus (tel: (775) 348 7433; www.rtcwashoe.com). The journey time is less than 20 minutes to central Reno and the single fare is US$2.
Shuttle: Scheduled shuttle services are run by a number of providers, including the North Lake Tahoe Express (tel: (866) 216 5222; www.northlaketahoeexpress.com), the South Tahoe Express (tel: (866) 898 2463; www.southtahoeexpress.com) and the Airport Mini Bus (tel: (775) 786 3700; www.bell-limo.com).
Taxi: Taxis are available from a number of operators, several of which offer flat-rate services to and from central Reno. Services run from an area outside baggage reclaim.

Money:
ATMs are located on each concourse, in the lobby and in baggage claim. Currency exchange is not available.
Communication:
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the terminal. There is a mailbox outside the terminal. Telephones are located on every concourse.
Food:
There are various restaurants and coffee shops, as well as a microbrewery-style pub, within the terminal building. Fast-food is available from a number of providers in the food court and in the concourses.
Shopping:
Shops at Reno-Tahoe International Airport include newsagents, gift stores, clothing retailers and a golf accessories shop. Duty-free shopping is not available.
Luggage:
Baggage trolleys are available for hire for a US$4 fee, but left-luggage and baggage lockers have been discontinued. Reno-Tahoe International Airport operates a lost and found service (tel: (775) 328 6868).
Other:
AED (defibrillator) units are installed throughout the terminal. There are also massage chairs, gaming machines and an area for pets.

Conference and business:
Conference facilities are available at nearby hotels, including the Best Western Airport Plaza (tel: (775) 348 6370; www.bestwesternnevada.com), which is located opposite Reno-Tahoe International Airport, and can provide a business centre, five boardroom-style meeting rooms and conference facilities accommodating up to 320 delegates.
Disabled facilities:
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is well equipped for disabled passengers. There are lifts, ramps and adapted toilets throughout and dedicated spaces in the airport car parks. There are also height-adjusted telephones throughout the airport, which can be used by travellers in a wheelchair. Assistance is available on request for all disabled passengers, although passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
Car parking:
Long- and short-term parking is available at Reno-Tahoe International Airport. The main car park building is connected to the terminal by lifts and a walkway. It offers space for around 1,250 cars over the first two floors, and the uncovered top level can support an additional 850 cars. There is also a long-term car park just south of the main parking area, with space for an additional 1,565 vehicles. A 'cell phone lot' is available for drivers meeting arriving passengers. Car hire companies at Reno-Tahoe International Airport include: Advantage, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. The desks are located on the lower level in the terminal building, to the left of the main entrance to the airport and opposite baggage reclaim.
