Westchester County Airport Guide (HPN)
Westchester County Airport is situated 56km (35 miles) northeast of New York City, and 9km (6 miles) northeast of White Plains.

Westchester County Airport has seen a number of changes in airlines using its facilities during 2011 and 2012, with some operators withdrawing service and others starting new routes.
There is no staffed information desk, but the information kiosk in the terminal building has telephones to local hotels and tourist information.
From White Plains and southwest Westchester, take Interstate 287 East to Interstate 684 North, and then turn off at exit 2. Follow signs to airport.
From southeast Westchester and Connecticut, take Interstate 95 (New England Thruway) to Interstate 287 West, then Interstate 684 North, and turn off at exit 2 (alternatively, head from Interstate 287 West onto Hutchinson River Parkway and turn off at exit 27 northbound – Rye Lake Drive leads to Westchester County Airport).
From north Westchester, take Interstate 684 South and turn off at exit 2 onto Airport Road.
Public Transport
Rail: Metro-North Railroad (tel: 511; www.mta.info/mnr) provides frequent train services between White Plains train station and Grand Central Terminal in New York City (journey time: 40 minutes; fare: US$7.75 – off-peak). Bee-Line (tel: (914) 813 7777; transportation.westchestergov.com) bus 12 links White Plains station with Westchester County Airport (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: US$2.25).
Bus: Bee-Line operates bus 12 between Yorktown and White Plains. It passes by Westchester County Airport every hour from morning to late afternoon. The fare to White Plains is US$2.25.
Taxi: DLC Car Service (tel: (914) 946 6664; www.dlctrans.com) provide taxi and shuttle services to and from Westchester County Airport. Fares start at around US$25-30 to White Plains.
Terminal facilities
An ATM is located in the main terminal, on the second floor.
Wireless internet access is available throughout Westchester County Airport. Fax services are also available.
The Skytop Restaurant is located in the terminal building and has views of the runway. There is also a coffee shop and a bar available.
A gift shop and newsagent are available in the terminal building.

Airport facilities
Fax services are available in the gift shop in the terminal. There is a conference room available for use to business travellers for a nominal fee. For alternative business and meeting facilities, it is necessary to travel into White Plains or nearby hotels.
Westchester County Airport is in full compliance with all ADA (American Disabilities Act) code requirements; wheelchairs and assistance are available to disabled passengers. Those seeking assistance should contact their airline prior to their arrival at the airport.
Parking at Westchester County Airport is limited, but there is a short-term car park opposite the terminal building. A further overflow parking area is located a short distance from the airport, next to the ‘cell phone’ waiting area on Airport Road. Travellers are advised to arrange to be dropped-off and picked-up, or to arrive by bus or shuttle service. When dropping off or picking up passengers, the driver must remain with the vehicle at all times. Airport parking information is available (tel: (914) 946 0843).
The car rental agencies available at Westchester County Airport include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz and National. Desks are located in Arrivals, and cars are picked up and dropped off adjacent to the terminal building.
Airport hotels
Just 5km (3 miles) from Westchester County Airport, Doral Arrowwood offers a range of leisure and business facilities, including conference space, a nine-hole golf course and tennis courts. Guests can choose from a number of on-site dining options.
The Renaissance Westchester Hotel, just 7km (4 miles) from Westchester County Airport, offers an indoor pool, tennis and volleyball courts and its own nature trail. The hotel also houses a restaurant and provides business facilities such as fax and photocopying services.
