Sioux Falls Regional Airport has easy access from Interstate 90, Interstate 29 and Highway 38.
From the north or south, travellers can take Interstate 29, turn off at exit 81, and head along Russell Street before turning northwards onto North Minnesota Drive.
From the west, take Interstate 90 eastwards and turn onto Interstate 29 South at exit 396A. Turn off at exit 81 and along Russel Street, then North Minnesota Drive.
From the east, Interstate 90 exit 399 connects to Highway 38A or Benson Road, which both lead to the airport.

The journey time to Sioux Falls is around 10 to 15 minutes, and the fare is about US$15.
There are places to eat both before and after the security screening area. Among them is an eatery serving wood-fired pizza post security and a restaurant serving a wide range of dishes in the public area.

The short-term car park is located directly across from the terminal building. The two long-term car parks are adjacent to the short-term parking area. There is a ‘waiting lot’ for visitors waiting for arriving passengers.
