There are visitor information booths in the baggage reclaim area on the ground floor. Multilingual interpreters are on hand in the customs clearance and boarding areas to provide assistance.

From Memphis city centre, take Interstate 240, and leave at the Airways exit south; at the fork, take a left onto Plough Boulevard, which leads to the terminal.
Public Transport
Public transport road:
Bus: The Memphis Area Transit Authority (tel: (901) 274 6282; www.matatransit.com) offers public bus services from the lower, outer kerb near Terminal C; bus 30 runs into Memphis.
Shuttle: There are pre-bookable shuttle bus services to out-of-town destinations. The journey time is 45-60 minutes, and fares start at US$1.75.
Taxi: Taxis are available in front of concourse B. Information is available from the manned booth. Fares to downtown Memphis start at around US$30.
Terminal facilities
Money:
There is a bank in the covered walkway between concourses A and B; several ATMs are located throughout the terminal.
Communication:
Wireless internet access is available in the terminal. There is a post box near baggage claim area A.
Food:
There are numerous restaurants, bars, fast-food outlets, cafés and snack bars throughout the terminal complex, including a sports bar in concourse C and a wine bar in concourse B.
Shopping:
Shops at Memphis International Airport include an Elvis gift shop in concourse B, which sells licensed merchandise. Various gift shops, news stands and duty-free outlets are also present in the terminals.
Luggage:
Lost property is handled by the Memphis Airport Authority Police (tel: (901) 922 8050), available 24 hours a day. There is not currently a left luggage facility at Memphis International Airport.
Other:
There is a health station in concourse B. AED (defibrillator) units are situated throughout the airport. Baby-change facilities are available in all toilets and there is a nursery in the terminal. Children's play areas are located on all concourses. Shoeshine booths are also situared in the terminal building.

Conference and business:
Three meeting rooms (tel: (901) 922 8000) are available at the Work Centre between concourses A and B. The International Travel Insurance and Business Center (tel: (901) 922 8090) in ticket lobby B provides fax and photocopying facilities, as well as notary and financial services. The Regency Inn and Suites (tel: (901) 332 2370; www.regencymemphis.com) also has extensive conference, meeting and banqueting facilities.
Disabled facilities:
Memphis International Airport has adapted toilets, lifts and ramps. TDD telephones are situated in the main terminal and on all concourses. All car parks have free reserved spaces for drivers displaying disability identification. Passengers requiring wheelchairs and special assistance should inform their airline prior to travel.
Car parking:
Short- and long-term parking (tel: (901) 922 8069) is available in the multi-storey car park next to the terminal building; the first 30 minutes of parking is free. There are also three long-term surface car parks (A, B and C) behind the multi-storey car park; these have are connected to the terminal by a free shuttle bus. A 'cell phone lot' is available for those meeting arriving passengers.
Car rental:
Car hire companies represented at Memphis International Airport include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. There is a courtesy telephone located in baggage reclaim where passengers can phone request pick-up by complimentary shuttle bus. Shuttle buses leave from outside baggage reclaim.

Immediately opposite the entrance to Graceland, this is an ideal choice for Elvis 'pilgrims'. Shuttles operate to and from the airport, and breakfast is included in the room rate. It even has a guitar-shaped swimming pool.
