Coming from Richmond, take Interstate 64 East to exit 197A. From the east, take Interstate 64 West to exit 197A. From the north, take Interstate 95 South to Interstate 64 East and exit at 197A. From the south, take Interstate 95 North to Interstate 64 East and again exit at 197A. From exit 197A, take Airport Drive to Richmond International Airport.

Public transport road:
Bus: The Greater Richmond Transit Company (tel: (804) 358 4782, www.ridegrtc.com) operates public buses to Richmond and other nearby locations. Bus 28 runs to central Richmond (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: US$2).
Taxi: Taxis are available kerbside by the North Parking Garage from first flight departure to last flight arrival. A number of companies operate from Richmond International Airport, including Airport Taxi (tel: (804) 233 4444) and Checker Taxi (tel: (804) 274 0711; richmondcheckertaxi.com). The fare into the city is around US$20.

Money:
Full bank services, including exchange of a limited number of currencies, are available in the main lobby on the upper level (Mon-Fri: 1000-1400). ATMs can be found in the upper level connector, between the atrium and the escalator, and in the lobby areas of the North and South Parking Garages.
Communication:
Free Wi-Fi internet access is available within the terminal building.
Food:
Cafés, restaurants, grills and a take-away service are located in the upper level atrium. A restaurant and a pub can be found in concourse A, while another pub and burger restaurant are located in concourse B. There is a café, a restaurant and a take-away service pre-security.
Shopping:
There are several news and gift outlets within the terminal, including a souvenir shop and a retailer selling children’s toys.
Luggage:
Lost and found items at Richmond International Airport are handled by the Communications Department (tel: (804) 226 8585) on the lower level of the terminal. Outside of the opening hours, travellers should call: (804) 226 3056, and leave their name, phone number and a description of their lost or found item.

Skycaps are available kerbside and can provide wheelchairs and luggage assistance for disabled travellers; passengers should request assistance from their airline when booking their flight. All toilets and payphones are wheelchair accessible and a TTY phone is located on the first level. Parking spaces for disabled people are available in all airport car parks. Lifts are located on the lower level of the terminal building, near the hire car counters, and in the multi-storey car parks. Car parking:
There are 8,000 parking spaces at Richmond International Airport. Long-term/daily parking is located directly across from the terminal building in multi-storey and surface car parks. Short-term parking can be found on the first level of the North and South Parking Garages. The two economy car parks are served by regular free shuttles to the terminal building. Valet parking is available at the terminal departure kerb. A new 'cell phone' car park is available for those meeting arriving passengers.
