From Washington, DC, take Interstate 395 South, then GW Parkway South to the signposted exit for Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Public transport rail: 

Rail: The Metrorail (tel: (202) 637 7000; www.wmata.com) light rail service for destinations throughout Washington, DC, stops at Terminals B and C. From Terminal A, travellers need to take the airport shuttle to Terminal B or C in order to use this service. Journey times are around 10-15 minutes and the single fare is US$1.80.

Public transport road: 

Shuttle: A SuperShuttle (tel: 1 800 258 3826; www.supershuttle.com) door-to-door service is available. It takes passengers to their requested destination, stopping at Union Station.

Taxi: Taxis to Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland are available at the exits of each terminal. Fares to central Washington, DC, are approximately US$15-18.

Terminal facilities

Money: 

A full-service bank is situated in Terminal B, before security. Several ATMs are also available in the terminals. Foreign currency exchange is available at the customer service centres in Terminals B and C.

Communication: 

Wireless internet access is free throughout Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. Post boxes can be found in all terminals. Other postal services are available at the North Customer Service Center.
