Best time to visit: 

Generally, Valencia is a great place to visit all year round thanks to its mild Mediterranean weather. Due to its location by the sea, it is most crowded in summer as both Spaniards and foreign tourists flock its shores. Other peak travel periods for Valencia would be during its festivals such as the Fallas in March, Benicassim Music Festival in July and la Tomatina in August. The best times to visit are late spring (May to June) and autumn (October to November) when the city is relatively free of crowds and temperatures are pleasant.
