Flying to Yemen

The national airline is Yemenia Airways (IY) (www.yemenia.com). However their direct services from London remain suspended after Gordon Brown pulled their traffic rights citing ‘security concerns'. Alternative airlines include Turkish Airlines (TK) (www.turkishairlines.com), Emirates (EK) (www.emirates.com) and Egypt Air (MS) (www.egyptair.com).

Getting to Yemen by boat

The main ports are Aden , Al Hudaydah, Al Mocha, Al Khawkha, Al Mukalla, and Nashtoon. For more information see www.portofaden.com
Vessels with passenger berths occasionally call into Aden and Al Hudaydah (www.costacruise.com), and passenger services sometimes operate from Al Khawkha to Djibouti.
