Driving directions:

From central Zadar, take route 8 southwards and turn left onto route 424. Continue along route 424 until you see signs for the airport access road (route 502), which leads directly to the terminal entrance.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Buses connect the airport to the Old Town Bus Terminal, the Gaženica ferry port (bus station near CRODUX petrol station) and the main bus station in central Zadar. Tickets are 25 kn. For the bus schedule, visit www.zadar-airport.hr/en/public-transport.

Taxi: Taxis are 24 hours a day outside International Arrivals. Prices into the city centre start at around 150 kn (20 Euro), and journey time is upwards of 15 minutes depending on traffic.

Terminal facilities

Money:

ATMs are located in the public area on the terminal's ground floor, on the right of the check-in counter. There is a bureau de change service available in International Arrivals and on the ground floor before check-in. There is an OTP bank before check-in.

Food:

There is a restaurant and a café/bar in the public area, and a snack bar in International Departures. However, these are not open 24 hours a day.

Shopping:

Duty-free shopping is available for passengers leaving the EU. Duty-free goods on offer include perfumes, fashion accessories, liquor and tobacco as well as many Croatian specialty items. Duty-free is located in the Departures Hall after security.

Luggage:

There are currently no left luggage facilities at the airport. Trolleys are available. Any items lost or damaged should be reported to the airport’s lost and found office (tel: +385 23 205 904).

Other:

Other available facilities at Zadar Airport include baby-care rooms and a travel agency desk in the main hall.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There is one business lounge but currently no meeting facilities at the airport, although these services are offered by some of the larger hotels on the coast and in the city centre. The nearest is the Hotel Porto (tel: +385 23 292 300; www.hotel-porto.hr), about 7km (4 miles) west of the airport.

Communication Facilities:

Public payphones are available and WiFi is free throughout the airport.

Disabled facilities:

Designated disabled parking spaces are located in close proximity to the terminal building. The airport is all on one level making it accessible for wheelchair users. There is also a marked place in the Passenger Terminal with a telephone where passengers can report a need for special assistance. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:

Over 400 parking spaces are available at the airport, with both long- and short-term spaces. Online booking in advance of travel is available via the airport website.

Car rental:

International car hire companies Hertz, Aviva and Sixt are represented at the airport, along with several local operators. Desks are situated between the main terminal and the parking area.
