Driving directions:

From St Helier, head west along the A2 coastal road (Victoria Avenue). Turn right on to La Route de Beaumont, and after a short distance the airport is signposted on the left. The total drive time to the airport from St Helier is approximately 15 minutes.

The airport is located in the parish of St Peter, about 7km (4.3 miles) northwest of the island's capital, St Helier.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: Bus service No 15 runs regularly from the bus stop immediately outside the terminal to St Helier. The journey time is 30 minutes. Bus service No 22 is an express service to St Helier, taking roughly 20 minutes. Bus service No 9 also goes to St Helier, taking about 25 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on board the bus with cash or a credit card. For timetables and fare, visit the LibertyBus website (www.libertybus.je).

Taxi: Metered taxis are available outside the arrivals hall. There are three types of tariff, depending on the time of the day. Companies operating taxis from the airport include Citicabs (tel: +44 1534 499 999), Domino Cabs (tel: +44 1534 747 047) and Yellow Cabs (tel: +44 1534 888 888). You can also pre-book a taxi - in this case, your taxi will be waiting in the designated area to the rear of the arrivals car park.

Terminal facilities

Money:

Departures hall: There are two ATMs in the airside and they dispense UK Sterling.

Arrivals hall: There is an ATM in the arrivals hall which dispenses Jersey pound only. Jersey pound is at par with the UK pound. However, please note that Jersey notes and coins are not accepted in the UK, although you can convert them in UK banks.

Food:

A café and a restaurant operate in the departures area.

Shopping:

Duty free is available for all passengers leaving Jersey. The shops include Jersey Pearl, Maison de Jersey and World Duty Free.

Luggage:

Luggage trolleys are available throughout the Terminals.

Left luggage is available in the departures hall. If your luggage is damaged or missing, you must report it immediately to the airline representative or ground handling agent at the Baggage Enquiry Desk, opposite carousel two, prior to leaving the airport.

Other:

Other facilities available at Jersey Airport include baby changing rooms, a children's play area and a first-aid facility.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no meeting facilities at the airport, but many of the island's larger hotels offer these.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout Jersey Airport.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible, with lifts and accessible toilet facilities. Designated disabled parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrance. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline ahead of travel.

Car parking:

There are two car parks at Jersey Airport. The long-stay car park is located opposite the departures hall, while the short-stay car park is located in front of the arrivals hall. Both car parks provide designated parking spaces for disabled drivers.

Car rental:

Car hire companies: Avis, Europcar and Hertz are represented at the airport. Offices are located on the ground floor of the terminal close to the entrance.
