Driving directions:

The airport is signposted from the city centre. To reach the airport, follow the eastbound Sopraelevata Aldo Moro, merging onto the E25 and then route SS1. The SS1 leads directly past the main airport terminal.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:Volabus (tel: +39 010 558 2414; www.amt.genova.it) operates regular express bus services to central Genoa, including the main railway station. The buses run from outside the terminal (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: €6), the single fare include a 60-minute pass to use on city centre transport. A cheaper alternative is the i24 shuttle, which runs to the nearest railway station (fare: €1.60), with the fare price including the onward train into Genoa.

Taxi:Taxi companies including Radio Taxi (tel: +39 010 5966; www.5966.it) are readily available outside the terminal entrance (journey time: 15-20 minutes; fare: from €8). Note the fare is per person.

Terminal facilities

Money:

A bank, bureau de change and ATMs are available in the terminal.

Food:

Restaurants are available airside and landside, and include a self-service outlet on the roof terrace. A choice of smaller cafés selling beverages and pastries is also available.

Shopping:

Duty free is available for non-EU passengers. A range of other shops offer gifts, souvenirs, and clothing among other items.

Luggage:

Luggage storage facilities are not available at Genoa Airport. Any lost property enquiries regarding luggage lost within the terminal should be directed to the main lost property office (tel: +39 010 601 5407).

Other:

Other facilities available at Genoa Airport include baby changing rooms, an indoor play area for children and a number of tour operator desks.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no meeting rooms at the airport. However, extensive meeting and events facilities are available at the nearby Tower Genova Airport Hotel and Conference Centre (tel: +39 010 65491; www.towergenova.com). The airport does however offer basic business facilities at the 'Sala Genova' VIP lounge (tel: +39 010 601 5380), which can be accessed by economy passengers for a fee of €25.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the airport, as are public telephones.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible to disabled passengers, with lifts and disabled toilet facilities. Designated parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrance. Any passengers requiring additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:

Short-term parking is located immediately outside the terminal, with the first 30 minutes free of charge. Long-term parking is also only a short distance from the entrance. Further parking information can be obtained from the parking office (tel: +39 010 601 5273).

Car rental:

International car hire companies: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are represented at the airport, along with a handful of local companies. Desks are situated close to the main terminal entrance.
