Driving directions:

The airport is signposted from the city centre. From central Gdańsk, follow route 501 west, then take the exit onto the E28 and finally take a left onto the westbound route 472, which leads directly to the airport.

Transfer between terminals:

The terminals are adjacent and interconnected.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: ZTM (tel 309 1323; www.ztm.gda.pl) operates several scheduled bus service calling at the airport. Services 110 and 210 link the airport with the city's main railway stations. The fare is PLN3. Night bus N3 also follows a similar route, for a premium of an extra PLN1. Journey time is about 30 minutes. Buses also connect the airport with Gdynia.

Taxi: Cabs (tel: 19686; www.cph.gda.pl) are readily available outside the terminal. The journey time into Gdańsk is 20-30 minutes and fares range from PLN 25-30.

Public transport rail:

Rail: The Pomeranian Metropolitan Railway connects Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport with Wrzeszcz and downtown Gdańsk. Regular tickets to and from Gdańsk (City ticket) cost PLN3.50. Tickets can be purchased from ticket machines at stations or from staff on-board trains.

Money:

A bank, bureau de change and ATMs are available in the terminal.

Food:

Restaurants are available airside, and a number of cafés are situated in the public area.

Shopping:

Duty free is available for non-EU passengers. There is a convenience store in the main hall, while a selection of giftware, local products and other goods is offered by outlets in departures.

Luggage:

Luggage storage facilities are not available. Lost property enquiries should be directed to the main information office (tel: 801 066 808)

Other:

Other facilities available at Gdańsk Airport include baby changing rooms, a children's play area and a number of tour operator desks.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no meeting rooms at the airport. However, a meeting room is available for hire at the nearby Hampton by Hilton hotel (tel: 588 821 000; hamptoninn3.hilton.com), which also has a business centre. The terminal does however offer a VIP lounge with basic business facilities.

Communication Facilities:

Public telephones can be found in the terminal, and paid-for Wi-Fi is available throughout the airport.

Disabled facilities:

The airport is fully accessible for disabled passengers, with lifts and disabled toilet facilities. Designated disabled parking is available immediately opposite the terminal entrance. Passengers are advised to contact their airline in advance of travel should they require special assistance.

Car parking:

Short-term parking is immediately outside the terminal, with the first 15 minutes free of charge. Long-term parking meanwhile is only a short distance from the entrance. For more information call: 583 481 231.

Avis, Budget, Dollar, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt are among the car hire operators represented at the airport. Desks are situated close to the main terminal entrance.
