Driving directions:

From central Jerez de la Frontera, head north/northeast and join the northbound Carretera Madrid-Cádiz (A4). After around 7km (4.6 miles), follow the signs to the airport, which is to the right of the main route.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:Local buses M-050 and M-052 (tel: +34 90 245 0550; www.cmtbc.es) link Jerez Airport with Jerez de la Frontera, Cadiz and numerous other destinations in the region. Buses are much more frequent than the trains and link the airport with the town in around 15 minutes; the fare is €1.10.

Taxi:Taxis (tel: +34 95 634 4860) are readily available from a rank outside the terminal. The journey time to Jerez de la Frontera is about 10 minutes and fares to the city start at around €15.

Public transport rail:

Rail:The railway station (tel: +34 90 232 0320; www.renfe.com) is located opposite the P1 car park, which is about 100m (328ft) from the terminal building. There are six services per day from Jerez Airport to Jerez de la Frontera and eight going in the other direction; trains depart from the airport at 0949, 1144, 1546, 1745, 1846 and 2248. The journey time to Jerez de la Frontera is six minutes and the fare is €2.40. The same trains continue to Cadiz, which is about an hour further down the line.

Money:

There is an ATM available on the ground floor of the terminal building in the public area.

Food:

There is a café in the public area of the terminal that serves snacks, sandwiches and cakes. An Andalusian bar/restaurant is located airside in Departures and sells beer and pinchos (bar snacks).

Shopping:

The duty-free shop in Departures sells a range of gifts, local foods, newspapers and magazines. An additional shop in the public area sells local souvenirs, tobacco products and perfumes, among other items.

Luggage:

There is a dedicated lost property office (tel: +34 95 615 0063) on the ground floor, in Arrivals. Luggage trolleys are located at various points within the terminal. Left-luggage lockers are not available at Jerez Airport.

Other:

Other facilities at Jerez Airport include a first aid centre and a baby changing room.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no conference facilities or VIP lounges at Jerez Airport; however there is a multipurpose room that can be used for meetings on request. Additionally, extensive meeting and conference facilities are available at the nearby Hotel Jerez & Spa (tel: +34 956 300 600; www.hace.es).

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Jerez (La Parra) Airport. Public payphones are available within the concourses.

Disabled facilities:

Facilities for disabled passengers include reserved parking spaces, ramps and wheelchair-accessible toilets. Those seeking assistance boarding/departing the aircraft should notify their airline at the time of booking.

Car parking:

Long- and short-stay car parks are situated within walking distance of the terminal. The P1 car park, which is directly opposite the terminal building, offers short-stay options; while the long-term P2 car park is adjacent to the P1 car park, opposite the train station.

Car rental:

Several car hire companies operate at Jerez Airport, including Avis, Enterpirse, Europcar, Goldcar and Firefly. Desks for these companies are located in the public area, immediately after baggage reclaim. The pick-up/drop-off point for hire cars is near the P1 car park.
