Driving directions:

Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport boasts convenient access via the E10 Highway. This major route begins near the scenic Corniche area and continues directly to Yas Island, making the journey to the airport straightforward for both residents and visitors alike.

Transfer between terminals:

Note 1: Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport technically has four terminals; however, all flights are managed through Terminal A as of January 2024. Terminals 1 and 2 are not operational, and Terminal 3 is held in reserve. As a result, passengers do not need to consider terminal transfers when navigating the airport.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus: At the Abu Dhabi Airport Bus Stop (GPS coordinates: 24.4265, 54.6452), passengers have multiple bus lines at their disposal. Options include line A1 to Al Zahiyah, A2 to Khalifa Street, A10 to MBZ City Bus Station, A15 to the Cargo Terminal, A40 to Al Shahama Bus Station, K4 to Khalifa City, and N2 back to Al Zahiyah. Tickets are available directly from the bus driver, with fares payable in UAE Dirham (AED).

Taxi: For direct transport, metered taxis are readily available outside the Arrivals Hall in Terminal A. The initial charge is AED 25, with an additional AED 1.6 or AED 1.69 per km for the first 50 km. A typical taxi fare to downtown Abu Dhabi is approximately AED 80.

There is a fantastic selection of cafés and restaurants after security. As of January 2024, there is also a Prosecco bar.

Shopping:

Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport offers an extensive selection of retail options, featuring an array of luxury fashion brands for the discerning shopper. The airport's duty-free area, particularly noted for its sizeable selection, is located near Pier D, beyond the security checkpoint. Travelers can find a variety of sought-after items, including cosmetics and fragrances, all available for purchase free of duty.

Luggage:

Complimentary luggage trolleys and paid porter services are readily available for passenger convenience.

Baggage storage facilities are on Level 0 of the Arrivals Concourse.

Abu Dhabi Zayed International Airport is the principal hub for Etihad Airways. Passengers on Etihad flights arriving in Abu Dhabi can report lost items using this form.
