Queenstown Airport Guide (ZQN)
Queenstown Airport is located 9km (6 miles) to the northeast of central Queenstown, in the lakeside settlement of Frankton.

The airport information desk (tel: (03) 450 9031) is located in the arrivals concourse and offers help with accommodation or travel reservations or general travel information.
Driving from the airport to Queenstown or vice versa is straightforward. Take Frankton Road either way and follow the signs.
Public Transport
Bus: Connectabus (tel: (03) 441 4471; www.connectabus.com) services run between the airport and the town centre every 20 minutes (journey time: 20 minutes). ConneXions (www.time2.co.nz) operates services to Dunedin and Wanaka.
Shuttle: Kiwi Shuttles (tel: (03) 442 2107) and Super Shuttle Queenstown (tel: 0800 748 885; www.supershuttle.co.nz) offer shuttle services from the airport to Queenstown.
Taxi: The taxi stand is located outside the arrivals area. The airport is served by Alpine Taxis (tel: (03) 442 6666; www.alpinetaxis.co.nz) and Queenstown Taxis (tel: (03) 442 7788).
Terminal facilities
An ATM is located in the concourse. A Travelex counter (tel: (03) 442 3805) is located between Arrivals and Departures. There are services for all foreign currency sales and purchases, traveller's cheques, credit card cash advances and international money transfers.
There is an Internet lounge next to the International Arrivals area, and paid-for Wi-Fi access is available throughout the terminal.
The airport cafeteria is located in the arrivals area, as is a bar overlooking the runway.
Apart from the duty-free shop that offers tobacco and alcohol, perfumes, toiletries and much else, there are gift shops, a book shop, a shop selling unique New Zealand hand-knitted sweaters, a jewellery and souvenir shop, a ski and outdoor store and a shop specialising in outdoor clothing.
For items lost on all flights, contact Air New Zealand Customer Service (tel: (03) 441 4876). For all items lost in the terminal building, contact Queenstown Airport Corporation (tel: (03) 442 3505). The airport has luggage storage lockers. The baggage trolleys are free of charge. Baggage can also be left at the information desk.
Baby changing facilities and a first aid room are located in the terminal building. The terminal is also equipped with an AED (defibrillator).
Airport facilities
The Air New Zealand Koru Lounge is located on first floor and can be accessed via the stairs midway along the departure concourse. A meeting room is available in the airport administration offices (tel: (03) 442 3505). The airport's bar can be hired for events outside of opening hours.
Adapted toilet facilities are provided, along with an elevator to level 2. Designated disabled car parking spaces are located in the set down area outside the terminal building.
The drop-off and pick-up zone is located directly outside of the main terminal building. All short-term and long-term car parking is accommodated in the public car park outside of the terminal.
The following car hire companies are available at the airport: Apex Car Rental, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Jucy, Nationwide, THL and Thrifty.
Airport hotels
Eichardt's Private Hotel is located in central Queenstown, just a short drive from Queenstown Airport. The hotel has its own restaurant and bar.
The Millennium Hotel Queenstown is located 8km (5 miles) from Queenstown Airport in the centre of the town. Hotel facilities include business services and conference rooms.
