One of the world's most famous ski destinations, Stowe ski resort combines a classic ski area and a quaint village six-miles away from the slopes. The village is a beautiful destination packed full of great accommodation, dining and shopping options.
In recent years, Stowe has spent hundreds of millions of dollars in a huge renaissance programme on the mountain at the base of the slopes, which has left it with a state-of-the art, 21st-century ski area equipped with 100% high-speed lift access.
These improvements are based on top of Stowe's natural assets, which include Vermont's highest mountain, some of the steepest and longest runs in New England, as well as plenty of great beginner and intermediate terrain.
Stowe is located in the Green Mountains of Vermont, within the New England region of the USA.
