Salt Lake City is the world centre of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Other state attractions include Zion National Park around the Virgin River Canyon, with its temple-like rock formations; Canyonlands, Arches and Capitol Reef national parks; Timpanogos Cave; and the Dinosaur National Monument near Vernal. Utah has five national parks.
