French Guiana Visa and Passport Requirements

To enter French Guiana, a passport valid for the duration of stay (EU nationals) or at least three months after the period of stay (non-EU nationals) is required by the nationals referred to in the chart above, except nationals of (1) France who are holders of national identity cards.
Visas for French Guiana are not required by the nationals referred to in the chart above for touristic stays of up to 90 days, providing they hold a return ticket.
All visitors to or passing through French Guiana must have a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Nationals not referred to in the chart above are advised to contact the embassy to check visa requirements for French Guiana.
Types and Cost
Short-stay/Schengen visa: €60; long-stay visa: €99.
Short-stay/Schengen visa: 90 days within a six-month period; long-stay visa: valid for stays of over three months.

Nationals who do require a visa can only enter French Guiana on a Schengen visa if it is marked on the visa sticker; you must advise the consulate/TLScontact that you are planning on visiting French Guiana when you apply.
Allow 15 days for visa processing.
Extension of stay
EU nationals staying longer than three months must register at the préfecture to apply for a carte de séjour. Other nationals require a long-stay visa.
