Other accomodation

Guadeloupe has a good supply of self-catering gites - the French term for (mainly) rural cottages - and villas for rent. These can be booked through Gîtes de France Guadeloupe (see Accommodation Information). There are also rural Bienvenue à la Ferme and Auberge Créoles accommodation. These are mostly self-catering, but one or two offer catered options as well.
