Passports
A passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.
Visas
Visas for the Marshall Islands are required by all nationals referred to in the chart above, except nationals of the USA, who do not require a visa.
Nationals of Australia, Canada and the EU (including the UK) are issued a 30-day visa on arrival.
Nationals not referred to in the chart are advised to contact the Marshall Islands Visitors Authority or the Director of Immigration to check visa requirements for the Marshall Islands.
Visa Note
Visitors obtaining a visa on arrival must still pay the processing fee and provide the relevant visa documentation (letter stating purpose of visit, police record dated within last three months and health record dated within last three months showing traveller is free of HIV and TB).
It may be necessary to obtain an ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorisation) or a transit visa for the USA first, as flights to the Marshall Islands are via Guam or Hawaii.
All visitors require proof of adequate funds and return or onward tickets.

Visitor visa: US$100; business visa: US$300.
Validity
30 days, with the possibility of extension up to 90 days in total.

Working days
Allow up to 14 days for visa processing if applying in advance.
Extension of stay
You can extend your visitor visa for an additional 60 days at a cost of US$10.
