Innsbruck Airport Guide (INN)
The airport is located 5km (3 miles) to the west of Innsbruck.

Recent works have involved enlarging the shopping and waiting areas in the terminal building.
An information desk can be found in the terminal's main hall.
From the east (including the centre of Innsbruck), follow the A12, take the exit marked Innsbruck West/Flughafen and follow the road to the airport. From the south, follow the A13 north to Innsbruck and then drive west on the A12, take the exit marked Innsbruck West/Flughafen and follow the road to the airport. From the west, drive east on the A12 and take the exit marked Vols Kranebitten/Flughafen. Follow the road to the airport.
Public Transport
Bus: Local transport company IVB (tel: (512) 5307 500) operates buses that run every 15 minutes from morning to evening between the airport and the main station in Innsbruck. The journey takes 20 minutes, and the single fare is €1.80. The bus stop at the airport is located immediately in front of the terminal building.
Taxi: Taxi ranks (tel: (650) 305 2594; www.taxi-innsbruck.info) are located in front of the airport terminal building.
Terminal facilities
There is an ATM in the arrivals area.
Wi-Fi internet access is available free of charge.
Bread, pastries and cakes can be bought from a bakery, while a café offers coffee and snacks. There is also an excellent restaurant serving a wide variety of dishes and a bar at the gates.
The airport shop has an extensive range of newspapers, magazines and books, tobacco and cigarettes, souvenirs, films and travel accessories. Duty-free shopping is available.
There is a lost and found counter in the arrivals hall.
Airport travel agency Schenker (tel: (512) 285 627) is located in the terminal's main hall. Baby changing facilities are available in the terminal building.
Airport facilities
Meeting rooms are available for hire. The nearby Penz Hotel West (tel: (512) 22514; www.penz-west.at) offers a good range of meeting and function rooms.
Innsbruck Airport has several arrangements in place to make travelling easier for disabled passengers, including designated parking areas, a special elevator and toilets for disabled people. For specific boarding and disembarking assistance, travellers should contact the airline representative at the gate.
The airport has 750 outdoor parking spaces and 750 parking spaces in the multi-storey car park opposite the terminal building. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes.
Car hire companies represented at the airport include Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Megadrive and Sixt. Car hire desks are located in the terminal's main hall and multi-storey car park.
Airport hotels
Romantik Hotel Schwarzer Adler is located in Innsbruck city centre and boasts an on-site restaurant, meeting space and spa facilities.
Penz Hotel West is located just a short distance from the airport. It boasts a fitness/sauna suite and a large restaurant, and is located just a few minutes from the terminal building.
