Central African Republic Travel Guide
The public face of the Central African Republic is one that is both politically volatile and environmentally savage; a land of unstable rule and unforgiving harmattan winds. Yet the private face of this country is one with an attractive countenance of forests, savannah, waterfalls and magnificent national parks that teem with wildlife, including concentrations of lowland gorilla and forest elephant groups.
Life in the Central African Republic is a heady mix of arts, crafts and cultural diversity; as it is home to more than 80 different ethnic groups. Despite perceived dangers that lurk in a city such as Bangui, the Central African Republic's capital is a friendly and welcoming place.
