Grenoble-Isère Airport is located 45km (28 miles) northwest of Grenoble and 85km (52 miles) south east of Lyon.

From Lyon and Chambéry, take the A43 towards the east and west respectively and turn south on the A48. Then, about halfway to Grenoble, take the exit signposted ‘Rives/Grenoble Airport’, head west and follow the signs to the airport. From Grenoble, take the A48 towards the north and then take the exit signposted ‘Rives/Grenoble Airport’, head west and follow the signs to the airport.
Public Transport
Rail: The SNCF (tel: 08448 484 064; www.sncf.co.uk) rail network (including TGV services) operates to and from the central station in Grenoble, which is linked to Grenoble-Isère Airport by bus services.
Bus: Grenoble Altitude (tel: 04 7693 4000; www.grenoble-altitude.com) operates a shuttle service between Grenoble-Isère Airport and Grenoble coach and train station, corresponding with all scheduled flights to the airport. Services are hourly (both ways) throughout the day (journey time: 45-50 minutes; fare: €12.50). Regular AG Bus services (tel: 04 7968 3296; www.agbus.fr) connect the airport with the Tarentaise Valley and Lyon, which is just over an hour away.
Taxi: TMT Hervé (tel: 06 8010 7871) offers taxi services throughout the region. Chauffeur-driven cars are available from VIP Limousines (tel: 04 7248 1618).
Shuttle: Numerous private operators provide connections with ski resorts in the region - details can be found on the airport’s website.
Terminal facilities
There is no bank at Grenoble-Isère Airport, but there are ATMs in the terminal building.
A post box is available.
A bar and restaurant serving food, snacks and cold and hot drinks is located in the terminal.
There are several shops at the airport, including a newsagent, a duty-free shop (for passengers travelling outside the EU) and a sports shop selling winter sports fashion and equipment.
A lost and found service is available in the terminal building.
Baby care facilities are available in the boarding lounges. There is also a first aid room.
