Goa International Airport Guide (GOI)
Goa International Airport is located 4km (2.5 miles) from Vasco da Gama to the northwest and 5km (3 miles) from Dabolim to the east. State capital Panaji is around 30km (19 miles) away to the north.

Construction of a new integrated terminal building began in February 2009.
There are information desks both in the domestic terminal and the international terminal.
The domestic and international terminals are housed in the same building.
Vasco da Gama can be reached by heading north and then west on state highway 17B from Goa International Airport. To get to the state capital Panaji (Panjim), head for the national highway 17A, follow it eastwards, and then go north on the 66 motorway all the way to Panaji (Panjim).
Public Transport
Rail: The nearest railway station is in Vasco da Gama, around 5km (3 miles) from Goa International Airport, which can be reached by local bus or taxi. Train services, provided by Indian Railways (www.indianrail.gov.in), are available to a number of destinations nationwide.
Bus: Local buses, which are often very crowded and not very frequent, go to Chicalim and Vasco da Gama nearby.
Taxi: Pre-paid taxis are available at Goa International Airport. The pre-paid taxi service counter is located outside the terminal building.
Shuttle: Locally operated minibuses provide links with Panjim.
Terminal facilities
A bank, ATMs and bureaux de change are located in the terminal building.
Post, telephone and telegraph services are available.
Snack bars are situated in both the international and the domestic terminal areas. A restaurant is also available in the domestic terminal.
Duty-free shops selling liquor, cigarettes, perfumes, toiletries, electronic items, watches and much else are located in the international departures and arrivals areas. News, books, clothes and general items are available in both terminals.
Goa International Airport has free baggage trolleys for travellers navigating their way through the airport.
A first aid room is available in the terminal building. Baby changing facilities are also available.
Airport facilities
There are no business or conference facilities at Goa International Airport. The nearest meeting facilities can be found at the Bogmallo Beach Resort (tel: (832) 253 8222; www.bogmallobeachresort.com), around 10 minutes from the terminals.
Facilities for the disabled are basic. Wheelchairs are available free of charge from the airline counters.
Parking facilities at Goa International Airport are limited. There are 350 parking spaces for cars. The parking lot is located near the terminal building.
Car hire services are available in the domestic arrivals area of Goa International Airport.
