Work has started on a completely new third terminal. This terminal will be devoted exclusively to international flights.

Public Transport

Public transport road: 

Bus: There is a city bus service running quite frequently between the airport and the city bus terminal at East Fort, near the Padmanabha Swamy temple.

Taxi: Taxis and autorickshaws are available outside the terminals. Pre-paid taxis are also available, to be booked at a counter in the arrivals areas of the terminal buildings.

Terminal facilities

Money: 

A post office and a bank are available in the arrivals area of the international terminal. There is also a bank branch in the departures area. Internet access is available in the international terminal.

Food: 

There are restaurants in the departure area of the international terminal as well as snack bars and tea and coffee vending machines.

Shopping: 

There is a duty-free shop in the departure area of the international terminal. Shops selling books, gift items and mobile phones are available in both terminals.

Luggage: 

.There is lost and found office in the international terminal.

Other: 

A medical facility is available. The airport has dormitory accommodation and retiring rooms available for transit passengers.

Airport facilities

Conference and business: 

There are no business or conference facilities at the airport, but Internet access is available in the international terminal.

The airport offers special assistance and wheelchairs to physically disabled travellers.

Car parking: 

Both short- and long-term parking is available at the airport.

A number of local car hire companies offer cars with drivers or self drive at the airport.
