Public transport road:
Bus: The Jamaica Urban Transit Company (tel: 1 888 588 2287; www.jutc.com) operates the public bus service between Kingston Norman Manley International Airport and Kingston. Bus 98 runs frequently throughout the day to the city centre (journey time: 30 minutes; fare: J$100).
Taxi: The taxi service at Kingston Norman Manley International Airport is provided by the Jamaica Union of Travelers Association (tel: (876) 924 8511 or (876) 924 8679), which has a fleet of air-conditioned vehicles ranging from sedans to large 30-seater buses. Fares start at around J$650.
Information on all forms of transportation can be found from the Ground Transportation Hall.
ATMs are located in the customs hall and in the arrivals area. Currency exchange services are located in the departure and arrival areas.
Kingston Norman Manley International Airport has various snack counters, a bar with views of the runway, a café and two restaurants.
Duty-free and general retail shopping facilities are situated in the departures area. A wide range of quality gifts and novelties, exotic spices and souvenirs from Jamaica are on offer as well as the usual airport selection of books, magazines and travel accessories.
A 24-hour lost and found office (tel: (876) 924 8452 ext. 2063) is located at the security centre in the departure concourse. Luggage trolleys are available; alternatively, porters can assist travellers with their luggage outside the customs hall and within the ticketing concourse.
A first aid service is available in the immigration hall. A police office is located outside of the customs hall. Baby changing facilities are available in certain toilets. Hotel/tour operator desks are located in Arrivals.
Conference and business:
There are no meeting rooms at Kingston Norman Manley International Airport.
