About Westchester County Airport (HPN)
Located on New York's state border with Connecticut, Westchester County Airport serves Westchester and the greater New York City area. Our Westchester County Airport guide includes information on terminal services and facilities, public transportation options, accommodation and contact details.
In late 2015, the airport began a $30 million construction project to expand and modernise the airport's terminal and ramp areas.
There is no staffed information desk at the airport, but the information kiosk in the terminal building has telephones to local hotels and also provides tourist information.
Westchester County Airport is located just off Interstate 684 (for connections from the north and south), north of Interstate 287 (for connections from the west).
From White Plains and southwest Westchester, take Interstate 287 East to Interstate 684 North, and then turn off at exit 2. Follow signs to airport from this point.
From southeast Westchester and Connecticut, take Interstate 95 (New England Thruway) to Interstate 287 West, then Interstate 684 North, and turn off at exit 2. Or, alternatively, head from Interstate 287 West onto Hutchinson River Parkway and turn off at exit 27 northbound – Rye Lake Drive leads to Westchester County Airport.
From north Westchester, take Interstate 684 South and turn off at exit 2 onto Airport Road.
