Driving directions:

From Autin, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport can be reached by taking Interstate 35 southbound. From here, exit onto the eastbound Highway 71, which has a designated exit for the airport (Spirit of Texas Drive). The total drive time is approximately 15 minutes.

Bus:The airport service (route 100), operated by Capital Metro (tel: +1 512 474 1200; www.capmetro.org), runs between Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and central Austin (journey time: 30 minutes; fare is US$1.75).

Shuttle:Super Shuttle (tel: +1 800 258 3826; www.supershuttle.com) runs a taxi/minibus service from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (journey time to central Austin: around 20 minutes; fare: around US$18). Tickets can be purchased from the counter on the baggage reclaim level of the airport.

ATMs are located in the arrivals hall and in the main departures area. Currency exchange services are available only in the departures concourse.

Food:

There are numerous cafés, bars and restaurants at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The majority of the restaurants can be found in the Market Place, in the main departures area. Among the options are a sports bar near gate 15 and a Tex-Mex eatery near gate 7.

Shopping:

The Market Place, inside the terminal building, houses most of the shops, which range from newsagents and bookshops to souvenir outlets selling the usual array of T-shirts and branded items.

Luggage:

A lost and found service (tel: +1 512 530 6943) is on hand to handle queries regarding lost items in the terminal. Baggage trolleys are also available.

Other:

Other facilities available at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport include shoeshine stations, situated at various points throughout the terminal, and massage booths. A selection of live music venues, featuring regular performances from local acts, are also located in the terminal.

Disabled facilities:

Facilities for disabled passengers include lifts, adapted toilets, accessible ticket counters and Braille signage. TTD phones are available (tel: +1 512 530 6356) and there are three videophones within the terminal building for those with hearing and speech impairments.

A wheelchair service is available to the aircrafts; passengers should inform their airline of any special assistance prior to travel. Disabled parking spaces are located either close to lifts in the car parks or within close proximity of shuttle bus stops – shuttle buses are suitable for wheelchair users.

Car parking:

There is plenty of space for parking at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. A covered short-term car park is located next to the terminal, along with another surfaced short-term lot a little further away (car park A). Long-term car parks are also available (car parks B-G). In addition, there is a free 'cell phone' waiting area for drivers meeting arriving passengers. Shuttles link the terminal and all car parks, 24 hours a day.
