Passports

To enter Tuvalu, a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival is required by all nationals referred to in the chart above.

Visas

Visas are not required by nationals referred to in the chart above for stays in Tuvalu of up to 30 days.

Visa Note

Entry permits for a maximum one-month stay are issued on arrival providing you have a valid passport, sufficient funds, proof of accommodation and a return/onward ticket.

Nationals not referred to in the chart above are advised to contact the high commission in Fiji, permanent mission in New York or an honorary consulate to check visa requirements for Tuvalu.

Types and Cost

Visitor permits are issued free of charge.

Validity

Visitors are normally permitted to remain in Tuvalu for up to one month, after meeting entry requirements.

Extension of stay

You can extend your stay to a maximum of three months by applying to the Chief Immigration Officer.
