Driving directions: 

From St Denis and Sainte-Marie, take the RN2 and exit for the airport at the Gillot roundabout and follow signs for the 'Aeroport Roland Garros'.

Public transport road: 

Bus: A daily bus shuttle service (tel: (0800) 655 655) operates between Reunion Roland Garros Airport and the centre of St Denis throughout the day (journey time: 20 minutes).

There are two ATMs outside the terminal on the arrival side.

Communication: 

A post office is located inside the terminal building.

Food: 

There is a restaurant with panoramic views located on the third floor of the terminal building and can be reached via a lift outside of the terminal. There is also a self-service restaurant on the first floor, and two bars, one on each floor. A snack bar is located in the first floor boarding lounge.

Shopping: 

In the shopping area on the first floor there are newsagents and tobacconists as well as shops selling souvenirs and mobile phones and phone accessories. In the boarding lounge there are newsagents and tobacconists and a shop selling fresh fruit and flowers. There is also an automatic speed lab for digital cameras on the ground floor.

Luggage: 

For lost or damaged luggage, travellers should contact their airline. There is a lost property service in the public car park.

Other: 

A room for worship is located on the first floor. There is also a play area for children on the first floor.

Conference and business: 

A meeting room/exhibition area is available (tel: (0262) 481 600), while internet access is offered in the first floor bar. Seven meeting rooms for up to 200 people are offered at the Mercure Créolia Saint-Denis La Réunion Hotel (tel: (0262) 942 626; www.accorhotels.com), about 6km (4 miles) from Reunion Roland Garros Airport.

Disabled facilities: 

Parking spaces reserved for disabled passengers are situated in the part of the car park closest to the terminal. The terminal is accessible for wheelchairs by the central pedestrian way. There are lifts to the upper floors in the terminal building. Every level of the terminal is equipped with toilet facilities adapted to people with reduced mobility and accessible by lift. Passengers with disabilities should contact LAA (tel: (0262) 488 370) for assistance.

Car parking: 

There is a public car park (tel: (0262) 488 019) for 1,000 cars directly across the road from the arrivals area in the terminal building.

Car rental: 

The following car rental companies serve the airport: ADA, Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National Citer, Rent a car and Sixt/Eurorent. Some local operators also offer car rental services.

Airport hotels

There are no hotels at the airport, but a number are available in St Denis, about 15-20 minutes away.
