Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:A public bus (Line ZE) operates between the airport, Saint-Denis and Saint-Benoît, from where connections run to other destinations on the island. Fares start at €2, and the journey time is about 20 minutes.

Shuttle:A daily bus shuttle service (tel: +262 800 655 655) links Réunion Roland Garros Airport and the centre of Saint-Denis throughout the day (journey time: 20 minutes; fare: €5).

Taxi:Taxis (tel: +262 262 488 383) are available outside the terminal. The journey time to Saint-Denis is about 10 minutes, and fares start at €15.

Money:

There are two ATMs in the public area, and a bureau de change outside the terminal.

Food:

There is a restaurant with panoramic views on the third floor of the terminal; this can be reached via a lift outside the terminal. There is also a self-service restaurant on the first floor, two bars (one on each floor) and a snack bar in the first floor boarding lounge.

Shopping:

Shops in the main retail area on the first floor include newsagents, tobacconists and specialist outlets selling everything from souvenirs to mobile phone accessories. Duty-free shopping is available in the departures area. Two gift shops and a newsagent can be found in the public area.

Luggage:

For lost or damaged luggage, travellers should contact the relevant airline. There is a lost property service (tel: +262 262 488 019) for items lost in the terminal or car park via the information desk.

Other:

A room set aside for worship and a children’s play area are located on the first floor. Numerous tour operators are represented at the airport.

Conference and business:

A meeting room/exhibition area is available for hire at the airport (tel: +262 262 481 600). Seven meeting rooms, with capacity for up to 200 people, are available for hire at the Mercure Créolia Saint-Denis La Réunion Hotel (tel: +262 262 942 626; www.mercure.com), about 6km (4 miles) from Réunion Roland Garros Airport.

Communication Facilities:

Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Réunion Roland Garros Airport, the first three hours of access is available free of charge. A post office is located inside the terminal building.

Disabled facilities:

Parking spaces for disabled passengers are situated in the area of the car park closest to the terminal. The terminal is accessible for wheelchair users via the central pedestrian pathway, while inside, lifts connect to the upper floors of the terminal building. Dedicated disabled toilets are also available throughout the terminal. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline in advance of travel.
