From Hanover city centre join the A7 or the A2, then Autobahn A352 to the Langenhagen exit for the airport.
Public Transport
Public transport rail:
Rail: S-Bahn (tel: 01800 150 7090; www.bahn.de) suburban trains (line S5) depart from Hanover Airport outside Terminal C to the central railway station (journey time: 15 minutes; fare: €3). Public transport road:
Bus: Bus 470 (tel: (0511) 16680; www.uestra.de) connects Hanover Airport with Langenhagen (fare: €2). Buses leave from the bus stop between the Maritim Airport Hotel and car park 3 next to Terminal C.
Taxi: Taxi stands are located at the entrance of the arrivals areas of each terminal (journey time to central Hanover: 20 minutes; fare: €25 approx.). Taxi providers include Flughafen Taxi Hannover (tel: (0177) 295 1986). 24-hour door-to-door shuttle services are offered by ATH (tel: (0511) 2351 9335; www.athaj.de) and CSH City Shuttle Hannover (tel: (0511) 977 2671; www.cityshuttlehannover.de).

Money:
A branch of Sparkasse bank is located in the departures area of Terminal B and is open 24 hours a day. Bureaux de change facilities are available in the arrivals and departures areas of Terminal B. ATMs can be found throughout the terminal buildings.
Communication:
There is an on-site post office within Hanover Airport. There is an internet café on the departures level of Terminal C.
Food:
There are numerous cafés, bars and restaurants at Hanover Airport in all terminals. These include a sports bar and a bakery.
Shopping:
Shops at Hanover Airport include duty-free (for travellers leaving the EU), a tobacconists, supermarket and electronics outlet. Most shops are located on the departures level of the Airport Plaza between Terminals A and B, however there are other outlets within Terminal C and in the waiting lounges.
Luggage:
Left-luggage and lost property enquiries are handled by the Airport Service Centre (tel: (0511) 9770) in the arrivals area of Terminal B.
Other:
A children’s play area is located on the departures level of Terminal C. There is also a pharmacy and a hairdresser.

Disabled facilities:
Wheelchair transportation is available on request from the Airport Service Centre (tel: (0511) 9770); wheelchairs can be obtained from airline ticket counters and passengers should inform the airline in advance of any special needs. Lifts for wheelchairs, dedicated ‘pick-up points’ and accessible public telephones are located throughout Hanover Airport. Disabled toilets can be found in all terminals. There are numerous parking spaces for the disabled in car parks P1 and P2.
Car parking:
There are multi-storey car parks opposite each terminal at Hanover Airport, with short-term parking located directly opposite Terminals A and B. Long-term rates are available in Parkhaus Ost, Parkhaus Nord, P3 and the perimeter parking area; a free, daily shuttle bus service to the terminals is available 24 hours a day. Executive parking is available in car park P1 and must be reserved in advance. A further long-term car park, P10, is available further from the terminals during the summer months. Car rental:
Car hire companies represented at Hanover Airport include: Avis, Europcar, Hertz, and Sixt. Offices for these providers are located in the Car Hire Centre in the arrivals area between Terminals A and B.
