Cork Airport Guide (ORK)
Cork Airport is located 8km (5 miles) to the south of the centre of Cork.

Plans are in place to extend Cork Airport's runway to accommodate long-haul aircraft, and to further extend the recently opened terminal building.
The airport information desk is located on the lower level in the arrivals hall.
Cork Airport is located to the south of Cork on the southern end of the N27 when coming from the north, west or east of the city, and off the R600 when arriving from Kinsale.
Public Transport
Bus: Bus Éireann (tel: (021) 450 8188; www.buseireann.ie) provides a regular bus service (bus 226) from Cork Airport to the city’s Parnell Place bus station and main railway station every 30-40 minutes throughout the week (slightly less frequently during early morning, late evening and weekends). The journey time is around 30 minutes, and the single fare is around €4. Bus 249, which runs between Cork and Kinsale, also calls at Cork Airport. Bus Éireann also offers long-distance services to destinations all over Ireland.
Taxi: Cork Airport Taxi (tel: 0872 812 581; www.corkairporttaxi.com) operates from Cork Airport. There is a taxi rank located outside the main terminal. The journey time into Cork is around 15 minutes and the fare starts at around €15.
Terminal facilities
The bureau de change and bank (closed at weekends) are located on the lower level next to the Eason bookshop. There are two ATMs nearby.
There is free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the terminal, and internet kiosks are available in both the check-in and arrivals areas.
Outlets serving food include Cork's Food Market, Lir Café and Subway. There are two bars in the terminal building.
The Loop shopping area features a number of shops selling leading fashion brands, perfumes, local food produce, books, newspapers, alcohol and tobacco. Duty-free shopping is available for passengers leaving the EU. There is a convenience store in the main concourse next to the information desk.

There is a hairdressers’ located within the airport terminal. The meeting point for picking up arriving passengers is located opposite the airport information desk in the arrivals hall.
Airport facilities
The Jack Lynch Executive Lounge (tel: (021) 432 8854) is located opposite Gate 8 in the departures area after security. As well as the usual lounge facilities, it also offers a small meeting room for hire. Opening hours are from 0600 to 2100 every day. Conference and meeting facilities are available at the Radisson Blu Cork Airport (tel: (021) 494 7500; www.radissonblu.ie) and Cork International Airport (tel: (021) 454 9800; www.corkinternationalairporthotel.com) hotels at Cork Airport.
Cork Airport's new terminal has many facilities and arrangements in place for travellers with disabilities. Specially adapted facilities include toilets, lifts, escalators, telephones, vending machines and signage. There are ample lifts and escalators located throughout the terminal building. Clear directional signage points the way to these. All lifts have directional inbuilt voiceovers and Braille control buttons. Parking spaces reserved for disabled travellers are available in the multistorey car park.
Cork Airport has more than 4,600 parking spaces located in both short- and long-term car parks. The multistorey short-term parking area, which is connected to the terminal building by a covered walkway, can accommodate 630 cars. Long-term parking is within walking distance of the terminal. All car parks operate 24 hours and a parking information service is available (tel: (021) 431 3131). People meeting arriving passengers must park in the short-term multistorey car park and go to the meeting point. Vehicles are not permitted to park directly outside the terminal building.
The following car hire companies are represented in the arrivals concourse at Cork Airport: 353, Alamo/National, Avis, Budget, Dan Dooley, Enterprise, Hertz, Sixt and Thrifty.
Airport hotels
Close to the terminal building, the Radisson Blu operates a 24-hour courtesy shuttle service to Cork Airport. Facilities include a restaurant/bar, fitness centre, business centre, and meeting rooms with a capacity of up to 200 people.
Situated about 1.6 km (1 mile) from the terminal, the Travelodge offers basic accommodation at budget prices. It has a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a 24-hour reception.
