Seoul Incheon International Airport Guide (ICN)
The airport is located 70km (43 miles) west of Seoul.

Ongoing development work includes construction of a second terminal building, due to open in 2015, and further major expansion set for completion by 2020. A high-speed Maglev link to Seoul is also under construction.

The two terminals are located in a single complex and connected by the Airport Transportation Centre.
The airport is connected to Seoul by the Incheon International Airport Expressway, incorporating a suspension bridge, which is the only road to the airport. An expressway toll is payable from/to both Incheon and Seoul.
Public Transport
Rail: The Airport Railroad Express (tel: (032) 745 7788; www.arex.or.kr) links Incheon with Gimpo Airport and local subway services into Seoul. Journey time is around 45 minutes, and the one-way fare is ₩13,300.
Bus: Passengers can choose between numerous limousine or regular inter-city buses. The inter-city buses stop at the major districts and hotels around Seoul. There is also a network of regional buses serving other districts.
Taxi: Regular, deluxe and jumbo taxis (for up to nine people) can be hired at the airport (journey time to central Seoul: 50 minutes; fares from around ₩45,000). Taxi stands are situated at the Arrivals floor exit.
Water: A ferry service runs from Incheon to Yeongjong-do, but further transport arrangements must be made to get from the airport to the pier, and then into the city.
Terminal facilities
There are bureaux de change and banks at the airport.
Mobile phone hire and Wi-Fi Internet access is available – there is also a post office and an Internet lounge near the duty-free shopping area.
There is a vast selection of restaurants, snack bars, cafés, bars, ice cream parlours and fast-food outlets.
Four companies operate more than 40 duty-free shops at the airport. There is a supermarket in the basement area.
There are luggage storage facilities and a lost property office (tel: (032) 741 3114); the airport’s website lists all items found at the airport.
There is a medical centre, chemists, laundry, children’s playrooms, massage parlour and a prayer room.
Airport facilities
The airport has two business centres: Diners Club International (tel: (032) 743 6100) and the Paradise Business Centre (tel: (032) 743 3660). Both have conference rooms equipped with videoconferencing systems. There are also two business centres in the Air Garden Transit Hotel, which offers secretarial services, photocopying, fax, computer, parcel delivery and messaging services (tel: (032) 743 3000; www.airgardenhotel.com). Conference and meetings facilities are available at the nearby Hyatt Regency Hotel (tel: (032) 745 1234; www.hyattregencyincheon.com) and Best Western Hotel (tel: (032) 743 1000; www.airporthotel.co.kr).
The airport has lifts and plenty of wheelchair-accessible toilets. Car parking spaces reserved for disabled drivers are available. Wheelchairs are provided free of charge; passengers requiring assistance should inform their airline prior to travel. The help phones located around the airport can be used to request assistance.
Long- and short-term parking facilities are available at the airport. An airport shuttle bus runs from the long-term car park to the passenger terminal. For parking information call (032) 741 7700.

Airport hotels
The Air Garden Transit Hotel is integrated with the passenger terminal building. It features numerous restaurants, which it shares with the terminal itself, and rooms can be taken for periods of six hours and above.
The 306-room Best Western Premier Incheon Airport hotel is located within the terminal complex and offers a range of dining options. Other facilities include a ballroom, a free business centre, a fitness room and an indoor golf range.
Hotel Incheon Airport is a short drive from Seoul Incheon International Airport and provides a complimentary 24-hour shuttle bus service to/from the terminals. Other facilities include a Jacuzzi, indoor golf driving range and on-site dining options.
Hotel Queen Incheon Airprot is located a short drive from Seoul Incheon International Airport and provides a free shuttle bus service to/from the terminals. Hotel facilities include high-speed Internet and an on-site restaurant.
The Hyatt Regency Incheon is a short journey from the airport, with meeting facilities and leisure centre (with pool) – the hotel also offers a courtesy shuttle.
