Al Ain International Airport Guide (AAN)
The airport is located 13km (8 miles) northwest of Al Ain.
There is one information desk (tel: (03) 855 555) in the main terminal building.
Take Suleimat Road, the main highway leading out of Al Ain, and follow signs to the airport.
Public Transport
Bus: Public buses to Al Ain serve the airport.Taxi: Al Ghazal Taxis operates a fixed-rate service to the centre of Al Ain.
Terminal facilities
A bank and bureau de change, ATM and public telephones are located in the main terminal building.
There are two restaurants and a coffee shop; the self-service cafeteria is open 24 hours.
There are also shops, including a duty-free complex.
Trolleys are available in Arrivals, free of charge.
There is a medical centre located in the main terminal building. There is a picnic area and children's playground in the airport's landscaped gardens.
Airport facilities
There are no business or conference facilities at the airport; the nearest facilities are located in the city centre hotels. The Al Ain Rotana (tel: (03) 751 5111) has two meeting rooms and a ballroom, which can accommodate up to 500 delegates. The Hilton International Al Ain (tel: (03) 768 6666) has a business and conference centre, while the InterContinental Al Ain (tel: (03) 768 6686) has a fully equipped business centre and conference rooms.
The terminal building is accessible to wheelchair users; there are disabled toilets.
Both long- and short-term parking are available immediately outside the terminal building.
There are no car hire companies at the airport. Avis is located in Al Ain city centre.
