Passports
Passports must be valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Mozambique and have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.

Visas
Citizens of Angola, Botswana, Cabo Verde, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe may enter Mozambique without a visa under bilateral or regional agreements. The permitted length of stay varies according to nationality.
In addition, nationals of Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Côte d'Ivoire, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States may enter Mozambique without a visa for tourism or business visits of up to 30 days, subject to the conditions of Mozambique's Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) scheme. The validity of a Mozambique visa depends on its type. Tourist visas are typically valid for up to three months.

Allow three working days for visa processing. Visas can also be issued within 24 hours (express service) for an additional fee.
