To enter Bahrain, your passport must be valid for at least six months after the date you arrive.
Visas
Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates) can enter Bahrain without a visa.
Citizens from 209 countries and territories, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, and EU member states, require a visa for tourism purposes.

Validity
Bahrain eVisas are available in different categories, typically valid for 14 days, 90 days, or one year (depending on type and nationality).
Bahrain visas on arrival are generally issued for two weeks, with some nationalities eligible for longer stays.
Transit
Transit passengers may not require a visa if they remain in the international transit area and have a confirmed onward ticket. However, if the layover exceeds certain hours, a visa may be necessary. Travellers should confirm requirements with their airline.
Application to
Tourist visas can be applied for online via the official Bahrain eVisa portal or through the NPRA mobile app (available for iOS and Android). Eligible nationals may also obtain a visa on arrival at Bahrain International Airport.
Working days
eVisa: Allow four to eight working days, depending on the type of service requested.
Visa on arrival: Issued instantly upon arrival, subject to eligibility.
Extension of stay
Visitors who wish to extend their stay can apply through the NPRA service portal. Approval is at the discretion of Bahraini immigration authorities, and extensions are not guaranteed.
