There is a customer service desks can be found in the arrivals area on the second level and on the departures area on the first level.
The best way to reach the airport from central Manama is to follow Palace Avenue and Shaikh Hamad Causeway to Muharraq. After taking a slight right onto Khalifa Al Khabeer Highway, turn left to stay on the highway and continue onto Road No. 2403 and follow the signs to the airport.
Bahrain International Airport is located 7km (4.3 miles) northeast of the capital city Manama on the island of Muharraq.

Public transport road:
Taxi: Metered taxis are available outside of arrivals. The journey time to Manama is 10 to 20 minutes depending on traffic, and the approximate fare to the city is 6 BHD.
Bus: the local buses A1, A2, 10, 11 and 12 all provide transport to Bahrain International Airport from various parts of Bahrain. The standard single bus fare (any distance on the same bus) is 300 Fils (cash only); the Go Card single trip fare is 250 Fils.
Shuttle: Many Manama hotels offer courtesy shuttle services for their guests.
There are banks with money exchange services and ATMs at various points in the terminal building.
There are restaurants and cafés throughout Bahrain International Airport. These include pizza restaurants, fast food outlets and an Irish pub.
The airport has a duty-free shopping area (www.bdutyfree.com) located in the arrivals and departures halls. This offers a wide range of goods and gifts, including local crafts. Orders can be placed online for collection at the airport. There is also a bookshop and luxury jewellery store.
There is no left-luggage service at the airport. Lost and found inquiries should be directed to the following: items lost in the terminal (tel: +973 17 321 429) or luggage lost in the baggage reclaim area (tel: +973 17 321 430). Baggage wrapping services, trolleys (free of charge) are porters are available at the airport.
A pharmacy is located on the first level near Gate12B, and a prayer room is located on site. Medical services are also available (+973 17 321 693) as well as smoking areas and Meet and Greet Services (+973 17 329 555).
Conference and business:
Four premium lounges are situated in the departures area, each of which serves food and is equipped with a range of business services.
Extensive meeting and conference facilities are also offered at a number of surrounding hotels.
Free Wi-Fi internet access and telephone services are available at the airport, and computers with access to Wi-Fi are available in the Business Centre.
The terminal is fully accessible to disabled travellers with either lifts or ramps and disabled-friendly toilets. Bahrain Airport Services (tel: +973 17 321 444) can assist with special requests.
Car Park A is a premium option and is the closest car park to the terminal. Car Park D offers long-term parking and is connected to the terminal by a shuttle. Passengers can be dropped off in front of the departures area or picked up in front of Arrivals with waiting capped at 15 minutes (penalty charges apply thereafter). The Overflow Car Park also offers long-term parking but isn’t connected to the terminal by the shuttle bus.
International car hire companies include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz and Sixt along with a number of other local operators. Car hire desks are located in the public arrivals area on the ground floor of the terminal.
