Bus:There is a limited city bus service operating from Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. This is very cheap (under Rs.10), but not a particularly convenient option if travelling with luggage. The total journey time varies, but takes around 30 minutes on average.

Taxi:A prepaid taxi counter can be found in Terminal 1, operated by the Taxi Drivers Association. Taxis run from outside Arrivals at Terminal 1, with the fare to the city centre starting at around Rs.350 - journey times can vary considerably depending on traffic.

There is a bank and a bureau de change kiosk in Terminal 2. ATMs are available in the Terminal 1 departures area.


There is a restaurant and café in Terminal 1, while Terminal 2 offers several juice and snack bars. Drinks vending machines are provided, and a number of shops sell snacks and confectionery.


A wide variety of shops and stalls are available throughout Ahmedabad Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, including a clothes boutique, newsagent and a shop selling local handicrafts. The duty-free shop in Terminal 2 sells a range of products, and there are several specialist outlets offering items such as watches, chocolate, beauty products and leather goods.
