About Menorca Airport (MAH)

The airport information desk (tel: +34 913 211 000) is centrally located on the first floor of the terminal building. The local tourist board also has an information desk in the Arrivals Hall on the ground floor (tel: +34 971 356 133).

Driving directions:

The journey from Mahón to the airport is very straightforward, simply follow the westbound ME-12 and turn south at the roundabout where the road splits. This road leads directly to the airport entrance. The total drive time from Mahón is approximately 10 minutes.

Public Transport

Public transport road:

Bus:Bus 10 (tel: +34 902 075 066; www.e-torres.net) runs between the central bus station in Mahón and Menorca Airport every 30 minutes during the day (journey time: 10-15 minutes; fare: €2.60).

Coach:Several coach companies operate services from the city bus station to other towns and villages on the island.

Taxi:Taxis can be hailed from the taxi rank in front of the terminal or booked in advance (tel: +34 971 382 896 for Ciutadella or +34 971 367 111 for Mahón).

Terminal facilities

Money:

There is one ATM at the airport, located in the Arrivals Hall on the ground floor of the terminal building.

Food:

The terminal building houses a small selection of bars, cafés, restaurants and fast-food outlets. The majority of eateries are located in the post-security departures area.

Shopping:

A duty-free shop (for non-EU passengers) in the departures area sells perfumes, tobacco and confectionary among other items. In addition, there are shops stocked with gift items, Menorcan handcrafts, clothes, jewellery and magazines. A pharmacy is also located on site.

Luggage:

A lost and found office (tel: +34 971 157 108) is situated in the Arrivals Hall, on the ground floor of the airport.

Other:

A selection of travel agencies are located in the Arrivals Hall, while a children's play area and play room are located on the second and first floors respectively.

Airport facilities

Conference and business:

There are no conference or business facilities at Menorca Airport. However, the nearby Hotel Capri in Mahón (tel: +34 971 361 400; www.artiemhotels.com) can provide limited business services, including meeting space.

Communication Facilities:

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout Menorca Airport. Public telephones can be found throughout the terminal.

Disabled facilities:

A help desk for those with reduced mobility is located on the ground floor of the terminal building, while the information desk has leaflets in Braille outlining services for the disabled.

Lifts provide access to the restaurant and boarding gates, while an outside panoramic lift connects to the departures floor. Access ramps are also available where required. Additionally, designated parking spaces are reserved for disabled travellers in car parks P1 and P2.

Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.

Car parking:

There are two car parks at Menorca Airport: the long-term P2 car park has a capacity of 250 cars, while the short-term P1 car park immediately opposite the terminal can take 495 cars. Short-term parking is free of charge for the first 30 minutes.

Car rental:

Car hire companies represented at Menorca Airport include: Avis, Enterprise, Europcar, Hertz and Owners Cars. Offices for these companies are located in the car park adjacent to the terminal.
