About Cancún International Airport (CUN)
Cancún International Airport is the second largest airport in Mexico and one of the busiest international airports in the region. It is the gateway to the popular Riviera Maya with its stretches of sandy beaches, numerous activities and historical attractions. A new terminal, Terminal 4, is currently under construction and is scheduled to become operational in 2017.
Information desks are in all terminals and designated airport representatives are available to provide additional information to passengers.
From central Cancún, drivers should go southbound on Highway 307 (Carretera Cancún-Tumul) and after 10km take the exit toward Aeropuerto.

Public transport road:
Bus:Cancún Airport offers a one-way bus service to Cancún bus station from the airport (tel: +52 998 848 0333 or +52 998 848 0335; www.cancunairport.com/public-buses). Tickets are purchased online and an airport representative will meet you in arrivals to take you to the bus stop.
Shuttle:There are no complimentary hotel shuffle services from the airport, but there are various shuttle services at a cost (tel: +52 998 848 0333 or +52 998 848 0335; www.cancunairport.com/transportation.com).
Taxi:An official taxi company (tel: +52 998 287 0336; www.cancunairport.com/taxi) provides individual and group services from the airport. Taxis must be reserved in advance online; there is no taxi rank available at the airport. Prices start around US$10 for shared rides or US$25 for private rides.
ATMs and bureau de change services can be found in each terminal.
Cancún International Airport has a variety of fast-food outlets, bars and restaurants serving both Mexican and international fare in Terminals 2, 3 and 4.
There are a variety of gift shops at the airport selling a range of items, from local crafts to jewellery. Duty-free stores are available, selling the usual range of confectionary, perfumes, alcohol and tobacco products.
There are luggage lockers available at the airport, priced US$6-19 depending on size (tel: +52 998 848 0335). For lost and found items, contact the Security Office (tel: +52 998 848 7200).
Other facilities available at Cancún International Airport include a pharmacy and medical centre.
Conference and business:
Conference facilities are available in the VIP lounge located airside in Terminal’s 2 and 3, along with fax, phone and Internet services. Additional business facilities are available at the nearby Courtyard by Marriott Hotel (tel: +52 998 287 2200; www.marriott.com).
Wi-Fi Internet access is available throughout Cancún International Airport, while a free service is offered in the VIP lounge. Public telephones and charging points for mobile devices are also available throughout.
There are ramps and lifts at the airport for wheelchair access, which are available upon request. Adapted toilets are located throughout the complex. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline in advance.
Car parking is located at the airport main entrance. The car park, which offers both short- and long-term rates, is open 24 hours a day.
The airport has their own car rental service. Avis, Europcar, Budget and Hertz are also on-site.
