In addition to the helpdesks, airport ambassadors dressed in turquoise jackets are available throughout the terminal to assist travellers.
Palm Beach International Airport is situated just off Interstate 95, and is a two-hour drive from Orlando, one-and-a-half hours from Miami and 45 minutes from Fort Lauderdale.
From central Palm Beach, cross the Royal Park Bridge and head west along Lakeview Avenue/Okeechobee Boulevard. After a mile, drive south along Australian Avenue, turn onto the westbound Belvedere Road, and then exit to the airport access road. The total drive time from Palm Beach to the airport is approximately 15 minutes.

Public transport road:
Bus:Regular PalmTran (tel: +1 561 841 4200; www.pbcgov.com/palmtran) bus services run from Palm Beach International Airport to destinations throughout the county from level 1 (single fare: US$2.00). Route maps can be found inside the terminal.
Taxi:Taxis are available from the transportation desks at each end of the terminal building, on level 1. Imperial (tel: +1 561 689 3663; www.imperialtrips.com) and Yellow Cab (tel: +1 561 777 7777; www.yellowwpb.com) are among the operators serving the airport. Fares begin at around US$25 for rides into Palm Beach.
Public transport rail:
Rail:Shuttle buses run to West Palm Beach station, from which Tri-Rail (tel: +1 800 874 7245; www.tri-rail.com) operates a stopping service to a number of coastal destinations including Golden Glades station in Miami (fare: US$6.90). Long-distance Amtrak trains (tel: +1 800 872 7245; www.amtrak.com) also depart from this station.
The Traveler Service Center on level 2 has ATMs and bureau de change facilities. ATMs are also available on level 3, level 1, in the baggage reclaim area, and along Concourses B and C.
Restaurants, bars and snack bars are situated on level 2 of the airport. Additional fast-food outlets and cafés can be found in the concourses.
The majority of shops are situated on level 2 of the terminal and include gift retailers, newsagents, a toy shop and a golf shop. There are also newsagents and gift shops in concourses B and C.
Trolleys are available for hire (for a fee) in the baggage claim area on level 1, while Skycap porters are present within the terminal to help with luggage. The Lost and Found Office (tel: +1 561 687 5906) is located in the central part of the main terminal and can assist with lost property queries.
Shoeshine and travel insurance facilities are located in the Traveler Service Center. There is also an 8-hole putting green on the second level of the terminal. A full service spa is also available within the airport.
Conference and business:
Conference rooms and full business facilities – including telephones, fax machines and data ports – can be arranged through the Traveler Service Center. Other services are available in the American Airways Presidents Club and Delta Crown Room airline club lounges situated on level 2.
Additionally, the nearby Holiday Inn Airport Hotel & Conference Center (tel: +1 561 659 3880; www.ihg.com) offers audiovisual equipment for hire and numerous meeting rooms accommodating up to 300 delegates.
Among the services for disabled passengers at Palm Beach International Airport are TDD telephones (on levels 1 and 3), lifts and accessible toilets. Those requiring wheelchairs should notify their airline when booking. Transportation for disabled travellers can also be arranged in advance (tel: +1 561 649 9848).
Disabled travellers requiring further information should use the white courtesy telephones located throughout the terminal and parking garages; these telephones connect the caller to the airport communications centre. Any passengers who may require additional assistance are advised to contact their airline before travelling.
Palm Beach International Airport offers four parking options: a premium car park outside Arrivals; short-term parking linked to the terminal, long-term surface and garage parking near the terminal; and a remote park-and-ride area linked via a shuttle service. Additionally, there is a free 'cell phone' car park located off Florida Mango and Belvedere roads for those awaiting arriving passengers.
