Nightlife in Nevada

For luxurious and elaborate entertainment, make your way to Las Vegas. Visitors have their pick of being entertained by some of the biggest stars in the business as well as lesser known entertainers among whom may be the next rising star. There is also a variety of places to gamble - the Excalibur Hotel & Casino, built in the style of a medieval castle, and the Egyptian-themed Luxor Hotel & Casino, a full-scale pyramid watched over by a sphinx are great places to start.

If you’re looking for a relaxed place to have a drink, head to the pubs and bars in Reno or Henderson. Both cities have fantastic pubs and bars that also serve food and are open until late. Gold Mine Tavern and Elixir - A Local Lounge in Henderson both feature regular live bands, serve delicious food and have happy hours that should definitely be taken advantage of. The same goes for the Sierra Tap House (all day happy hour on Mondays) and Foxy Olive cocktail bar.
