The airport is located 7km (4 miles) northeast of Tunis.

The Office National du Tourisme Tunisien (ONTT) has a desk in the main hall.
It takes 15-30 minutes to drive from the centre of the city to the airport, depending on traffic.
Public Transport
Bus: Regular public buses run to the city and Tunis Marine train station (journey time - 30 minutes).
Taxi: Yellow metered taxis are available at the taxi rank outside the terminal. Other taxis are better avoided as they often overcharge.

There is a travel agent in arrivals and a small tourist office on the first floor of departures. There is also a hairdresser's in arrivals. First aid is available.
Airport facilities
There are no business or conference facilities at the airport. A VIP lounge is available in departures.
Lifts, ramps and adapted toilets can be found at the airport. Wheelchairs are available from the airline counters. Travellers requiring assistance should contact their airline prior to departure.
A car park with 2,500 spaces is located just outside the terminal.
