Located in a lovely old restored building opposite Wat Ounalom, and with stunning views of the Tonle Sap River, this boutique hotel is intimate and chic with a sophisticated blend of contemporary and Khmer styles. Boddhi Tree Umma

This traditional Khmer guesthouse has a boutique hotel feel, though rates are significantly less than at comparable stays. There are just seven rooms, plus a lush courtyard and pleasant restaurant. Located close to Tuol Sleng prison, it's a little way from the many of main sights, but offers a chance to explore some of Phnom Penh's less visited areas.
